She came to our home in February 2004 as 8 months old ‘teenager’. She had tough times before she came and she lost her trust in men. On the other hand she loved women and kids. She had to get through the first barrier what was my husband but after than everything was getting better and better.
When she definitely realized that no one is going to hurt her anymore, she was able to die for anyone from our home. She was loyal and there was no situation I wouldn’t go for with her. Lajla enjoyed dog shows but also coursings. She liked to show herself but even more loved running around in the forest.
She was always my ‘shadow’. She had litters twice in her life. In her second she gave birth to my beloved Brave. She taught her everything that was needed and gave her amazing base for life. With Lajla we had to feed the puppies with bottles because she could not feed them on her own, but other than this, she was amazing mother from the day one until the they our puppies left home.
That’s the first thing she gave me. After her previous experience from her first home we had to make small steps every day to build the trust in her again. Here I could see the character of wolfhound. She gained her trust in people again and the trust was so unlimited and unconditional.
Every dog I ever had had some impact on me but Lajla was like going to the University again…
