Back at our specialty show in March, my friends and I agreed that in the autumn we would take a trip together to the towns of Turija and Bačka Topola in far-away Serbia. In the end, from the originally planned group, it was just Janis and me who went.

On October 17, 2026, an international show took place in Turija in the morning, followed in the afternoon by the Specialty Sighthound Show “Xtreme Sighthound Show.”

I set off on this journey mainly because of these two judges. Mr. and Mrs. Finney are long-time Irish Wolfhound breeders from Ireland, and I hold their opinion in very high regard. Janis received praise from both of them and a beautiful written critique from Marion.

Janis continues to amaze me more and more on our trips. She is one content, friendly Wolfhound lady who isn’t bothered by anything at all. My car and I handled the drive without any complications, which makes me happier than almost anything else. We didn’t forget to enjoy the gourmet culinary experiences, which are an absolute must on trips like these, and thanks to our friends, we spent a beautiful weekend.
